Lakota East senior Brittany Weinheimer has signed to continue her volleyball career at Cumberland University.

 

Weinheimer, who also considered Bowling Green, plans to major in Education.

 

“The small campus atmosphere was important along with the possibility of playing right away,” Weinheimer said.

 

Weinheimer was a four-year letterwinner and second-team All-GMC player as a setter at Lakota East.

 

“Brittany’s strong leadership skills, determination and hard work ethic has served her well,” Lakota East coach Erin Iceman said. Lakota East finished last season with a 14-9 record.
